Our story
Maccafan was founded in 1999 by Pierre Rattaire as a fan library devoted to the work of Paul McCartney. Over the next two decades, the site grew into one of the most comprehensive McCartney library online, documenting albums, exclusive files, press coverage, photographs, and the broader Wings and Beatles catalog.
In 2026, Maccafan was relaunched as an independent news publication, building on its archival foundation with original journalism, album retrospectives, and ongoing coverage of Paul McCartney's career.
